SEKONG Striped Pillow

These bright fuchsia stripes were destined to become a sinh, or a traditional Lao skirt, but we decided they can lend a hand to brighten up a room! This cloth was handwoven on a back strap loom by the Kriang of Sekong Province in southern Laos. The monochromatic motifs feature butterflies and zig zag lines depicting mountains and natural elements that are found in their environment.

It is finished with cotton backing and closed by an invisible zipper.
